Ah.... Jeff Parkes! The image that comes to mind when I think of Jeff is Isaiah 61:3 where it mentions "oaks of righteousness". Jeff was an oak in his own right - and a good and solid man at that. No act of service seemed too small for him. I always knew where I stood in the limited interactions I was fortunate to have with Jeff. To me, that is a sign of the transparency of a man. I am honoured to have been in this great man's presence during his final days and to have held him in prayer before eternity. May his unique and wonder-full soul rest in peace. James (Parker)
