I first met Jeff prior to going out to work in Iraq together. He helped me through some difficult times out there and we soon became firm friends from that time on. We shared many happy and adventurous times together both abroad and back in UK. I feel he was the older brother I never had and was indeed made to feel part of the family by Pat Matt and Gemma. He was a very brave and generous man with a big heart and a wonderful sense of fun and humour, and I will miss him deeply. And my thoughts and prayers go to him today along with Pat Gemma Matt and all his family. Chris Longdon
